Year 10 French

Homework for Tuesday night and Wednesday night this week is to prepare for the controlled assessment practice task on Thursday.  Spend the time at home learning sentences and paragraphs that you can then reproduce in the practice task lesson on Thursday.

Write an 80 word summary of the plot of a film.  Use this to help:

Purple booklet – pages 7, 8, 9, 26 & 27.

Read the instructions on the inside front cover before starting.  You will need a dictionary of at least the size we use in class, or use www.wordreference.com as a last resort.

Also, if you are aiming for a high grade, do some of the extension work – see the extension work page for all the exercises for the first term.

Combined learning homework 4 to 6 – only French to English.

Combined learning homeworks 1 to 3 – only French to Engish.

The long awaited spelling test on the numbers – numbers to twenty and then tens to a hundred.  Happy days.

At least 3 pieces of the extension work on the website (see Extension Work page).  I will need to see evidence of this in the lesson – either print outs with your answers on or written work in the back of your book.  If you don’t have internet access at home, you will need to print it out in school today or make friends with someone that does have internet access.  There is no reason why you couldn’t do all of the extension work if you are bored – it won’t take that long.
